Magnesia Brick Introduction:
Magnesia bricks mainly include ordinary magnesia bricks, mid-range magnesia bricks, high-purity magnesia bricks, and fused magnesia bricks (recombined magnesia bricks). Ordinary fired magnesia bricks, commonly referred to as burnt magnesia bricks (magnesia bricks), are the most productive and widely used alkaline bricks. Magnesia Bricks are alkaline refractory materials. These products have over 90% magnesium oxide content and adopt periclase as the principal crystalline phase. Magnesia Brick is mainly used in basic open-hearth furnace for steelmaking, electric furnace, rotary cement kiln, heating furnace, glass furnace and hyperthermia tunnel kiln with properties of higher refractoriness, good basic slag erosion resistance and high apparent initial softening temperature.
Magnesia Brick Advantages:
Magnesia bricks have high refractoriness, good alkali slag resistance, and high softening starting temperature under load, but poor thermal shock resistance. Sintered magnesia bricks are made of brick magnesia bricks. After crushing, batching, mixing, and molding, they are fired at a high temperature of 1550-1600 °C. The firing temperature of high-purity products is above 1750 °C. Unpoured magnesia bricks are made by adding appropriate chemical binders to magnesia, mixing, molding, and drying. Mainly used for steelmaking basic open-hearth, electric furnace bottom and furnace wall, the permanent lining of oxygen converter, non-ferrous metal smelting furnace, high-temperature tunnel kiln, calcined magnesia brick, and cement rotary kiln lining, furnace bottom and furnace wall of heating furnace, Glass kiln regenerator checkered bricks, etc.
